The Internet grocer, new to Palatine, donated enough food to feed 325 families along with a check for $500 to the Palatine Township Food Pantry.

Leading Internet grocer Peapod.com is paying it forward with a donation to the Palatine Township Food Pantry.  At a check presentation on March 19, at the site of the recently opened Peapod Pick-Up location in Palatine, Peapod’s Elana Margolis (left) presented a check for $500 and a supply of non-perishable food items to Palatine Township Supervisor Linda Fleming, to help support the 325 families a month that visit the Palatine pantry.
