Five trustee candidates are running for four open seats on the Palatine Township Board. The supervisor, assessor, highway commissioner and clerk candidates are running unopposed.

Repubican candidates had a heated primary, six of the seven candidates that ran on the Better for Palatine Township slate won again the Palatine Township Republican Team.
Terry Kelly, the incumbent Palatine Township Assessor, and part of the Palatine Township Republican Team, ran unopposed. Lisa Moran, the incumbent clerk, ran independently and beat out challenger Kathy Alleggretti, who ran on the Better for Palatine Township slate.
