Palatine to Celebrate Arbor Day April 27
Trees will be planted at Lincoln School.
The , along with the , is hosting an Arbor Day celebration on Friday, April 27 at 10 a.m. at , 1021 North Ridgewood Lane in Palatine.
Planting will take place along Farmgate Road, on the south side of the school property. Mayor Jim Schwantz, Principal Mary Beth Knoeppel and the third grade classes of Lincoln School will participate in this celebration. Five trees, two swamp white oaks and three frontier elms, will be planted on the south side of the school to commemorate Arbor Day 2012.
