Palatine's 2011 Toys For Tots Campaign

The 2011 Toys for Tots campaign is underway.

The Village of Palatine employees, Palatine and Inverness Police Departments, and the Palatine Fire Department, in conjunction with the United States Marine Corps Reserve, are teaming up for another “Toys for Tots” drive in Palatine.

“The annual Toys for Tots campaign is an opportunity for the entire Village to provide assistance to needy families in Palatine and throughout the northwest suburbs,” stated Palatine Police Officer Wayne Sunderlin.

Last year, the Palatine community collected more than 700 cubic feet of toys. To exceed last year’s totals, the Village of Palatine is proud to partner with Community Consolidated School District 15 schools, Marian Jordan, Lincoln, Hunting Ridge (PTA), Virginia Lake, Plum Grove Junior High, Sanborn, Sundling Junior High, Pleasant Hill, Lake Louise and Jane Addams Schools with their “Fill the Bus” campaign.
