Palatine Residents Asked to Report Flood Damage by Thursday

The Village of Palatine received a requestto assess uninsured damages resulting from the April 17-19 flood event. Results will determine whether or not Palatine residents receive federal assistance for losses.

Below is a release from the Village of Palatine:

The Village of Palatine has been requested by the Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (CCDHSEM) to assess uninsured damages as a result of the April 17-19 flood event.

To that end, the Village is conducting a self-assessment survey of damages to residences and businesses in Palatine. The results of this survey will be reported to CCDHSEM and used as the basis for determining whether state and/or federal assistance will be extended for losses experienced as a result of this flood event.
