Palatine Library Offers Tea Time for Seniors, Cartooning for Kids

The Palatine Public Library has two programs coming up Tuesday, June 21.

  • Senior Program - Tea on Tuesday

Tuesday, June 21, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.  This special senior event at the Palatine Library features books, sharing, and refreshments. Bring a book you’ve enjoyed–on any topic–and tell us about it!   • Children’s Program – Once Upon a Fire-Breathing Cartoon Class

Tuesday, June 21, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to draw dragons of all types at the Palatine Library, from friendly to ferocious, with a local teen artist. Logan Schirmbeck, one of the winners of the 2011 ILA statewide iRead Young Adult Art Contest, will shed light on the cartooning process in this hands-on, introductory workshop. For Grades 3-6.
