Palatine Hosts Weekly Ghost Walks

The walks kicked off on Sept. 29 and will continue weekly through Oct. 20.

The village of Palatine will host weekly ghost walks, which started on Sept. 29 and will continue through Oct. 20, according to an announcement on Palatine Patch. 

The ghost walks will start at 6 p.m. every Sunday at Durty Nellie's, 180 N. Smith St. in Palatine, according to the village of Palatine website.

The Ghost Walk of Palatine is a walking tour of downtown areas  and includes visits to some "haunted" locations with local lore spanning back to the 1800s, according to the village of Palatine website. 

The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children and all proceeds go to charity, according to the Palatine Patch post.
