Palatine Early Voting Turnout

As of March 26 214 people had taken advantage of early voting at the Palatine Village Hall.

So far 214 votes have been cast early at the Palatine Village Hall.

Early voting for the April 5 election began on March 14 and continues through March 31. The Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood St., and most early voting locations are open through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As of March 26, the total number of votes cast at the village hall had been 214 – an average slightly more than 17 a day. However, that number is not be fully indicative of how many people have turned out, so far, for elections in Palatine. Cook County registered voters have several possible locations where they can vote early.

By comparison Schaumburg has had 615 early voters at the Schaumburg Public Library. Schaumburg, however, has a contested race for mayor.

Correction: This story originally stated that early voting was allowed Monday through Saturday. This week, however, that is not the case as the early voting period ends Thursday. Patch regrets the error.
