A number of Palatine facilities will be closed on Monday in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Classes will not be held in District 15 and District 211 [unrelated to the holiday, there is no school Tuesday, January 22 as well due to teacher institute days at elementary, middle and high schools in Palatine].

All United State Post Offices are closed. There is no regular mail delivery/pickup or retail services on postal holidays.
Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street will be closed on Martin Luther King Day.

The Palatine Public Library will be open during normal hours.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is considered a bank holiday and most banks will be closed on Monday, including BMO Harris Bank, Chase Bank and U.S. Bank. Contact your bank to determine if they will be open Monday.
Most other area businesses, restaurants and stores will be open for normal business hours on Monday.
