Your Palatine Library Card - a valued resource

September is National Library Card Sign-up month and the Palatine Public Library District will celebrate with fun giveaways and contests for current and first-time cardholders. Visit any of our locations during the month of September to get a new library card and receive a welcome gift! Current cardholders who check out 10 or more materials at one time will receive a small thank you gift as well.

The Library will also have a daily drawing to win Vending Café coupons for patrons who use their card for a program or service in the Library. All entries within the month of September will be eligible for the grand prize drawing to win an eReader at the end of the month. Entry forms will be available at all locations.

Getting a library card is easy. Just stop by the Main Library located at 700 N. North Court in Palatine or one of our Branch locations. Please provide two forms of identification (including at least one photo ID) showing your current residency within the Palatine Public Library District. Children under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult when applying for a card. The Freeman Rd. Branch is located at 1262 Freeman Rd. in Hoffman Estates, while the Rand Road Branch is located in the Palatine Opportunity Center at 1585 Rand Rd in Palatine. Branch Daily Drawing winners will receive local coupons.
