Election 2012: Have You Voted Yet?

You can vote early now through November 3. The general election is November 6 at various polling places around Palatine.

For registered voters who want to cast their vote before the November 6 general election, you have until Saturday, November 3 to do so.

Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street, is an early voting site.

From 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. you can cast your vote, but remember you are required to provide a current, government issued identification card. Those include your Illinois driver's license, a state ID of a U.S. passport.

I don't think voting early is good for the election process unless you are in the Military. The evening news gave out the early voting results the other night showing who was in the lead. This type of reporting could sway voters to vote for the leader on election day. This is trying to push there agenda on the voters. I don't think they would have reported it if their candidate was not in the lead. Thanks CBS!
