Democrats To Watch State of the Union at Durty Nellie's

Northwest suburban Democrats will watch the State of the Union address at Durty Nellie's in Palatine Jan. 24.

Northwest suburban Democrats will gather on Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., at Durty Nellie's Pub, 180 N. Smith St., Palatine, to watch President Obama give his annual State of the Union address.

The President's speech is scheduled for 8 p.m.

"More than 100 people attended last year's event, and we're expecting a good turnout again," stated Matt Flamm, one of the organizers of the event, in a press release.

Food and drink will be available for purchase. The event is co-hosted by Obama for America, Northwest Suburbs of Chicago for Obama!, Palatine Township Democrats, Wheeling Township Democrats, Tenth Congressional District Democrats, and Central & Western Lake County Democrats.
