Two-Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Dundee Road

Two-vehicle accident shut down section of Dundee Road, just west of the intersection at Hicks and Dundee Roads Monday.

Emergency responders were called to a two-vehicle injury accident just west of the intersection at Dundee and Hicks Roads around 5 p.m. Monday.

A silver sedan, headed east on Dundee Road, collided into the front passenger side of a light blue minivan. Attempting to make a left turn out of a parking lot on the 300 block of E. Dundee Road, the light blue mini blue van was struck in the in the near the center line.

According to emergency responders, both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the minivan, an adolescent girl was uninjured and it’s unclear if there were any passengers inside the silver sedan at the time of the crash.

Part of the eastbound lane of Dundee Road was shut down and traffic backed up for about an hour Monday evening.
