Two Palatine Women Arrested in Connection with Naperville Prostitution Sting

Palatine residents Tara Ann Zagone, 19, and Sherry Ann Cameron, 33, were arrested Friday at a hotel in the 1800 block of Diehl Road in Naperville.

Two Palatine women were arrested and charged with prostitution at a Naperville hotel Friday after the participated in the FBI’s “Operation Cross County VI,” a nationwide crackdown on child sex trafficking.

While no children were involved in the Naperville sweep, 79 child victims of prostitution were discovered and more than 100 pimps were arrested across the country during the three-day operation, according to the FBI.

“Even though our arrests didn’t net any children involved in prostitution, it was under that particular operation,” Naperville Police Department Sgt. Gregg Bell said. “In our cases, all of the individuals that were arrested were all adults.”
