A Palatine man was sentenced to five years in prison this week after pleading guilty to aggravated criminal sexual abuse, the Daily Herald reported.

Douglas E. Medrano, 21, of the 1900 block of North Green Lane was on probation for sexually abusing another victim when he kissed and groped a 12-year-old girl, the newspaper reported.
