As I stated "you must be licensed and undergo training" this is the ruling in all states that do issue permits. Thank you for responding Brian, I am a licensed gun owner and the weapons on leave the home to go to a range to practice. Never shot a critter ever. Used to carry a rifle down the main street of Barrington in 1955, when my father bought me a 22 caliber target rifle. Went to the police range at the sewer treatment plant...
We still agree for the most part. I have to rely on what has happened to me when dialing 911, several times the respond has been slow, up to 45 minutes, because the 911 crew had no idea where Binnie Road is off of Randall. Another time a teen was being chased on his bicycle by four kids in a car with baseball bats, he did a u-turn and came into my garage! I would guess the sight of someone with a bigger baseball ball and cell phone gave them second thoughts. Police took seven minutes to respond, I took three seconds..
