Police Seek Home Invasion Suspect Who Attacked Elderly Woman

Police are looking to arrest a man who attempted to scam one elderly woman before going on to push his way into the home of another elderly woman in Rolling Meadows, taking a "substantial amount of cash" on Sunday afternoon, according to the Daily Herald.

A warrant has been issued for Stanley Miller, 32, on a home invasion charge after police said he broke into the home of an 86-year-old woman in the 2400 block of Central Road and battered the woman after she confronted him, according to the article.

Miller originally approached the woman and told her that her home was in need of repair, according to CBS Chicago. He also attempted to get into the home of 90-year-old woman who lived nearby but that plan was thwarted when a visitor came to the house at the same time.

The phone number for the Rolling Meadows Police Department is 847-255-2416. Anonymous tips to the Crime Tips Hotline can be made by calling 847-506-6024.
