An Evanston man sold a stolen car, stole it back from the buyer and then tried to sell it again to undercover police, according to police.

The man found someone to buy the 2010 Toyota Camry via Craigslist on a Wednesday, then sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning stole the car back using a GPS he attached to the car; and on Friday tried to sell the car again but this time to undercover police officers.
A 20-year-old woman was found sleeping under a tree in Lake of the Hills.
A Des Plaines resident reported someone had taken a cement goose statue worth $50.
That same day, another resident on the same block said she had placed her cement duck statue, worth $50, near her flower bed but discovered it missing several days earlier. She did not make a report at that time, but since another resident had had a goose statue stolen, she decided to make a police report.
