Palatine Rural Fire Protection District Seeks Applicants for Trustee Position

The Palatine Township Board will be accepting resumes from residents of the Palatine Rural Fire District to fill a current Board vacancy. The term for this office will begin immediately after being appointed and will run through April 30, 2015.

Interested applicants must reside in the Rural Fire area and are asked to submit their resumes, including background and qualifications, to the Palatine Township Center, 721 S. Quentin, Suite 101, Palatine, IL 60067 - attention Paul Pioch by Tuesday, Agust 21, 2012.

Candidates may be asked to appear before the Township Board on Monday, August 27.

"It is a great way for someone to get more involved in their community and their fire district," said Sharon Johnson, Palatine Township trustee. "A passion for their community is the best asset a person can have for this position."
