Palatine Resident Charged with Child Molestation

The Daily Herald is reporting that a Palatine man has been charged with child abuse.

Miguel Beltran-Espinosa, 51, of the 1300 block of Turtle Creek in Palatine, has been charged with predatory criminal sexual assault, the Daily Herald is reporting.

Bail for Beltran-Espinosa has been set at $200,000. According to the report the child last month told her mother about the incidents and the abuse had occured on more than one occassion.

Although Beltran-Espinosa lives in Palatine, the alleged crime did not occur in the village.

Beltran-Espinosa faces a class x felony, punishable by between six and 30 years in prison. His next court date is in Rolling Meadows on June 16.
