Palatine Police Collecting Warm Coats for Needy
You can donate winter coats for children through adults at the Palatine Police Department through November 27.
The Palatine Police Department will serve as a collection point this year for donated winter coats.
The department is collecting coats for adults and children for PATH – Palatine Assisting Through Hope’s annual Day of Giving program.
On the Day of Giving, needy families from the Palatine area gather at the Palatine Opportunity Center to select clothing for their family.

You can drop winter coats in the lobby at the Palatine Police Headquarters, 595 N. Hicks Road, now through November 27.
This will be the 8th annual Day of Giving for PATH.

Since 2006, the Palatine-based non-profit organization has garnered volunteers and thousands of clothing donations that make the event possible.
Palatine familes in-need will be given the chance to select donated clothing items at no cost.

Palatine Assisting Through Hope is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people in need. This mission is carried out by providing food, clothing and other basic needs for families in crisis.
It was founded in 2006 by by Rich Tyack, Debbie Rohrwasser and Andy Konopka.
