Palatine Police Blotter: Vehicle Sticker Snatched

The following information was provided by the Palatine Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 30

A vehicle registration sticker valued at $99 was taken from a red 2003 Suburban SUV. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 15 and Sept. 30 in the 700 block of Harvard Court.

Brad P. Aller, 39, Palatine, was charged with DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, speeding, no insurance, and driving with a revoked license after a traffic stop near Rand Road and Dundee Road.

A black 2007 Chrysler had its front driver's side window smashed sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10:13 p.m. in the 1500 N. block of Turtle Creek Drive. A wallet was taken from the vehicle.

Oct. 6

The rear tire of a mountain bike was stolen at the train station, 542 W. Colfax St., sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:57 p.m. The bike was secured to a bike rake when the tire was removed and taken.

Oct. 7

Jorge Cancel Jr., 36, of Palatine, was charged with retail theft after taking a magnetic key holder and leaving , 790 W. Euclid Ave. The incident occurred between 11:15 a.m. and 11:38 a.m.

Oct. 7

Someone through a brick through an overhead window sometime between 7:18 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. at , 790 W. Euclid Ave. The brick was thrown from the west side of the store.
