Palatine Police Blotter: Thefts and DUI Arrests

Aggravated DUI
Jose A. Munoy-Ruiz, 39, of Palatine was headed westbound on Hicks Road when he was stopped around 9:42 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, and charged with aggravated DUI, driving without a valid driver’s license, uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage and improper lighting.

Floyd F. Ormonde, 41, or Palatine was charged with DUI, DUI with blood-alcohol content above .08, improper lane usage and speeding. Ormonde was stopped around 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 while driving west on Palatine Road, near Greeley.
DUI

Elmer A. Diaz, 44, of Streamwood was arrested Sept. 30 for DUI, impeding traffic, disobeying traffic control devices and driving without a valid driver’s license. Headed north on Quentin Diaz was pulled over around 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 30.
Burglary of Motor Vehicle
At the 900 block of Maple Avenue personal belongings of unknown value were removed from a Mercedes two-door around 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1. Victim stated the left window had been left ajar.
Theft Report
Between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28 an unknown offender cut the lock to a locker at World Gym, 1546 E. Dundee, Palatine, and stole a black wallet containing a driver’s license, ID cards and $200 cash.
