Criminal Trespass to Vehicle

An unlocked 2008 Hyundai was entered by an unknown offender(s) sometime between Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 12 at 7 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Flake Dr. The car was rummaged through but nothing was taken.

A 2001 Ford Focus was entered by an unknown offender(s) sometime between Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. and Jan. 20 at 7:50 a.m. near Old Hicks Rd. and Gardenia. The car was rummaged through but nothing was taken.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

A 2005 Nissan Sentra was discovered to have its back door handle broken off on Jan. 14 at 8:15 a.m. in the 700 block of W. Euclid Ave. The estimated value of the damage is not known. 

A 2011 Toyota Camry had its two rear tired punctured sometime between Jan. 18 at an unknown time and Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. in the 700 block of E. Rand Rd. The estimated value of the loss is $398. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

A GPS was taken from a 1998 Jeep Cherokee sometime between Jan. 18 and Jan. 19 in the 800 block of E. Marshall Ct. The GPS was valued at $100 and there were no signs of forced entry.

Residential Burglary

An unknown offender(s) entered an open rear door of a home in the 300 block of N. Pondview sometime between Jan. 14 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 16 at 5:17 p.m. A kitchen mixer and jewelry were taken.

An unknown offender(s) entered through a rear sliding door that was off the track at a home in the 100 block of E. Cunningham Dr. on Jan. 21 sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 10:53 p.m. Jewelry was taken and the value of the lost items was not immediately available. 

Driving Under in the Influence

Ryan Alcina, 21, of the 400 block of W. Palatine Rd. was arrested on Jan. 17 at 4:23 a.m. in the 400 block of Northwest Hwy. and charged with DUI and improper lane usage. 

Juan Hernandez-Ugenio, 34, of the 1900 block of N. Green Ln. was arrested on Jan. 18 at 11:43 p.m. in the 1900 block of N. Baldwin Rd. and charged with felony DUI, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of alcohol by the driver, having an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. 

Christopher J. Marley, 47, of the 400 block of Pebble Creek Dr. was arrested on Jan. 13 at 12:55 a.m. in the southbound lane of Hicks Rd. from Dundee Rd. and charged with DUI, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08, improper lane usage and speeing. 

Robert M. Moore, 55, of the 800 block of Oak Creek, Genoa, IL. was arrested on Jan. 18 at 11:29 p.m. on westbound Rt. 14 at Quentin Rd. and charged with DUI, driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 and driving in the wrong lane.
