Palatine Police Blotter: DUI, Retail Theft

The Palatine Police Department's arrest blotter through Dec. 29.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Palatine Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.


DUI

  • Pasquale Colella, 30, of the 4900 block of N. Pontiac Ave., Norridge, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. on Dec. 29 on northbound Rand Road at the 1900 north block. Charges include DUI and improper lane usage.
  • Lauren I. Partridge, 32, of the 1400 block of W. Sapphire Dr., Hoffman Estates, was arrested at 3:36 a.m. on Dec. 29 on on westbound Palatine Road at the 400 west block. Charges include DUI, BAC over .08 and improper lane usage.

Retail Theft

  • Olga Lesnikova, 41, of the 1200 block of E. Baldwin Ln., was arrested Dec. 22 at Walmart, 1555 N. Rand Rd., She was charged with retail theft. Lesnikova was observed by loss prevention opening and consume a small bottle of wine while in the store, then opening and concealing a tube of lip ointment in her purse. She then paid for some larger bottles of wine in the checkout and passed the last point of sale. The stolen items totaled $6.49 (pre-tax).
  • Alexandra Lyn Valentino, 19, of the 2300 block of S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights, was arrested Dec. 27 at Target, 679 E. Dundee Rd. She was charged with retail theft. Loss prevention observed Valentino place three Jawbone brand Bluetooth speakers (valued at $179.99 each pre-tax) into her purse and pass the last point of sale without paying.
