Palatine Police Blotter: DUI, Burglary, Theft

The Palatine Police Department's arrest blotter through Nov. 3.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Palatine Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DUI

Martin W. Toalson, Martin, 36, of the 700 block of Charter Hall, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. on Nov. 2 in the 300 block of northbound Northwest Highway. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol improper lane usage.

Kelly R. Collins, 26, of the 600 block of Holly Court, Addison, was arrested at 12:52 a.m. on Nov. 3 on eastbound Palatine Road. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and illegal transportation of alcohol.

Angel J. Murillo, 21, of the 1100 block of Singleton, Roselle, was arrested at 1:49 a.m. on Nov. 3 on southbound N. Rand Road from N. Williams Drive. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, BAC over .08, speeding and improper lane usage.

Burglary to Vehicle

Three juveniles were charged with criminal trespass to vehicle and burglary to motor vehicle in connection with two cases in the 600 block of N. Eagle Lane and one case in the 200 block of S. Benton Street. The offenses occurred between 7 p.m. Nov. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 3. 

Retail Theft

Shauna C. Amigleo, 27, of the 2300 block of Castilian, and Lisa M. Damico, 34 of the 1300 block of W. Oakmont, Hoffman Estates, were each charged Oct. 28 with retail theft Walmart, 1555 N. Rand Rd. Loss prevention observed the females take tags off of jewelry and clothing items and place those items in their purses. Both subjects were observed to pass the last point of sale with a collective total of $365 worth of merchandise (Amigleo/$218 and Damico/$147).
