Criminal Damage to Property

Unknown offender(s) threw a piece of concrete through a bedroom windown of an apartment in the 1300 block of N. Baldwin Ct. sometime between Feb. 13 at 7:45 p.m. and Feb. 19 at 5:20 p.m. There was damage both to the interior and exterior windows and the window blinds. Damage estimates were not immediately available.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

Unknown offender(s) punctured the left rear tire of a gray 2010 Toyota sedan parked in the 1900 block of N. Green Ln. sometime between Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. Damage was estimated at $68.

Theft

Unknown offender(s) took a 64 gb Apple iPhone 5 from a backpack at Fremd High School, 1000 S. Quentin Rd. on Feb. 15 between 9:49 a.m. and 10:18 a.m. The victim was playing basketball at the time and his backpack, which contained the iPhone, was laying up against the wall when the phone is believed to have been taken.  

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

Unknown offender(s) removed a test meter from a white 2008 Ford pickup truck parked in a parking lot at 20 S. Brockway St. sometime between Feb. 21 at 2 a.m. and Feb. 23 at 1 a.m. The meter was removed from the passenger compartment and it is unknown if the doors of the vehicle were locked at the time of the burglary. 

Unknown offender(s) removed a Garmin GPS from the center console of a gray 2005 Hyundai SUV parked in an apartment complex parking lot in the 700 block of E. Pennsylvania Dr. sometime between Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. and Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. The vehicle was left unlocked and the GPS was valued at $299. 

Uknown offender(s) smashed a passener side window and removed a Coach purse from a silver 2007 Honda SUV parked in the St. Nectarios parking lot, 133 S. Roselle Rd. on Feb. 24 between 10:50 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The purse, valued at $200, was in plain sight on the passenger seat while the victim was attending church services. 

Driving Under the Influence

Jorge Coin, 43, of the 1400 block of E. Ports O' Call Dr., was arrested for DUI on Feb. 21 at 2:15 a.m. in the 3600 block of N. Bayside Dr. Colin was charged with DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 and illegal transportation of alcohol.
