Criminal Damage to Vehicle

A victim discovered the rear passenger tire of a 2011 Chevy van was punctured in the 2000 block of N. Hicks Road on April 23 sometime between noon and 5:50 p.m. Damage estimates were not immediately available.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

The owner of a white 2003 Lincoln sedan who parked the vehicle in the 1000 block of E. Randville Drive discovered an unknown offender(s) removed their Acer brand laptop computer ($300) on April 23 between 9:06 p.m. and 9:11 p.m.

Theft

A victim reported that two 12-volt marine batteries ($200) were taken from their boat parked in the 1800 block of N. Rand Road on April 29 at 4:19 p.m. 

Driving Under the Influence

Yevginiu Kadushin, 25, of the 400 block of Havenwood Drive, Round Lake, was charged with DUI on Kennedy Drive near Dundee road on April 28 at 4:55 a.m. Kadushin was also charged with having a blood alcohol content of more than .08, speeding and failure to signal. 

Matthew Seiler, 28, of the 600 block of E. Eisenhower Avenue, was arrested and charged with DUI on Hicks Road between Carpenter and Cunningham Drive on April 27 at 2:21 a.m. Seiler was also charged with improper lane usage.
