Justice Man Charged With Biting Half of Man's Ear Off

Richard Vody, 28, was charged with one count each of home invasion, aggravated battery and domestic battery Friday morning. The missing part of the victim's ear was ultimately recovered.

A Justice, Il. man faces a number of charges stemming from an incident late last week, when he bit half of another man's ear off.

According to a press release from the Cook County Sheriff's Office, a domestic battery emergency call came in on Friday, April 19 at 8:45 a.m. from a residence in the 200 block of Walnut in unincorporated Justice.

Richard Vody, 28, of the 7800 block of Garden Lane, allegedly forced his way into the residence prior to the call, according to the release, and argued with the victim, who lived there with his girlfriend.
