High Heeled Bandit Robs Local Man in Chicago

The Arlington Heights man was threatened by a close to 300 pound man wearing high heels with a baton, then robbed of his money and his cell phone in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood last weekend.

A close to 300 pound man wearing heels stole money and a cell phone from an Arlington Heights man over the weekend in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. 

Chicago police responded to a call in the 3700 block of N. Fremont St. on Saturday, Jan. 12 near where the 23-year-old Arlington Heights resident was reportedly threatened with a baton and robbed by an unknown suspect. 

According to Chicago police, the victim was walking away from a bar on Addison St. when the suspect approached him and asked, “Where are you going? Where do you live? Is there anybody there right now?”

The victim told police the suspect pulled out an expandable baton and shouted, “Give me all your money!” He gave up his iPhone 5 and a total of $100 in various bills.

The suspect reportedly then said to “keep walking” and fled. Chicago police officers searched for the man, but couldn’t find him.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years of age, weighing 275 pounds, and wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, and black high heels.
