Former Cook County Analysts Found Guilty of Fraud, Accepting Bribe

Two Chicago men who served on the Cook County Board of Review as analysts were convicted today of accepting a $1,500 bribe to lower the assessed value on several properties, according to the Daily Herald. 

A federal jury found half-brothers Thomas Hawkins, 49, and John Racasi, 52, also guilty on fraud and conspiracy charges, according to the article.
