Felon Faces Weapons Charge in Palatine

A Wisconsin man and convicted felon faces weapons charges from an incident Tuesday, Aug. 9, the Daily Herald reported.

A convicted felon faces weapon charges for carrying a loaded gun in Palatine, the Daily Herald reported.

Martell L. Warren, 22, of Milwuakee,  Wisc., was arrested after police answered a call of a potential armed robbery Tuesday, Aug. 9. The car Warren was riding in was stopped in the 1100 block of E. Dundee and a loaded .22 caliber revolver was found in the glove compartment, the Daily Herald reported.

Felons are prohibited from carrying firearms and Warren has a 2008 conviction for armed robbery, the newspaper reported. Warren is charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor battery.
