A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in a crash early Monday in unincorporated Cook County near Hoffman Estates, according to the Daily Herald.
The fatal crash closed down a portion of Golf Road between Route 59 and Rohrssen Road, according to ABC7 Chicago.
The accident happened just after 5 a.m. and remains under investigation, according to the Daily Herald.
