UPDATED: Elderly Arlington Heights Man Found in Southwest Suburb

An 89-year-old Arlington Heights man who was listed as missing and endangered was located safe on Sunday in Lockport, the Daily Herald reports.

Joseph McMahahon, 89, who was listed as a missing and endangered person was located by police in southwest suburban Lockport on Sunday, the Daily Herald reports. 

According to the paper, he was located at 3:30 a.m. in his vehicle; police said in a release he was in a state of mental confusion. McMahon was transported to a New Lenox hospital to be evaluated.

Arlington Heights police are searching for a missing elderly man who has a history of becoming confused while driving, according to the Arlington Cardinal

Joseph McMahon, 89, was last seen on July 11. According to the report, McMahon is believed to be driving a red, 1998 Oldsmobile 4-door vehicle with license plate PGX203 with an Illinois registration.
