Former Harper College Student Faces Charges for Home Invasion, Armed Robbery
Jarvis James, 20, was ordered held on $300,000 bond Saturday. Along with three other defendants who have not been identified, he entered a Hoffman Estates home and an assault rifle was used to threaten the people inside, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Twenty-year-old Jarvis James of Arlington Heights was ordered held on $300,000 bond Saturday for a home invasion and armed robbery with a firearm that occurred on April 10 in the 700 block of Bode Circle, Hoffman Estates, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Though James and his three accomplices attempted to conceal their identity, the Chicago Tribune reports a victim in the home recognized James' voice and hair style from when the two attended Harper College together and was able to identify him.

Items taken included a wallet, XBox and Wii game consoles, and Wii games, the paper reported.
