Palatine Township Thanksgiving Basket Thank You

Palatine Township extends its sincere thank you to the residents and businesses of the Palatine Township community for their overwhelming participation in the annual Thanksgiving Basket program.  This year we were able to distribute almost 500 baskets and food gift cards to families in need.

It is very heart-warming to see the quantity of food that is gathered by donors, received and then distributed to our fellow Township residents that are currently in need of an extra bit of food so they can celebrate a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  We appreciate the hard work by our staff and volunteers to make this program successful again this year.

The Thanksgiving Basket program is one of several programs that is part of the Palatine Township’s Needy Family Fund.  Other programs include the Palatine Township Food Pantry, Spring Basket, Apple Tree, Adopt-A-Family and Angel Tree.  Please call us at 847/358-6700 or visit the Township web site during the year to learn how you may make a tax deductible donation to any of these programs.  The Township’s web address is www.PalatineTownship.Com/.
