Get Wild About Girls Night Out raises record $10,000 for Palatine Senior Center

Get Wild About Girls Night Out Fundraiser raises record $10,000 benefitting the Palatine Township Senior Center

Smiles abounded at the 8th Annual Girls Night Out fundraising event benefitting the Palatine Township Senior Center.  Over 230 girlfriends, mothers and daughters enjoyed great food, drinks, shopping, and getting pampered. Over half the participants joined in the fun of getting their picture taken in the free photo booth provided by Party Photo Booths sponsored by Partners in Primary Care.  The music was upbeat and livened up the crowd. DJ services were provided by Loren Freeman with Event Mobile Sound, sponsored by Bill and Marla Gillen.  The hors d’oeuvres were provided by Durty Nellies and the caramel gelato with pumpkin chocolate chip cookies with extra caramel on top was a big hit and was donated by Signature Sweets and Cookie Cards, Inc.  Many people visited the free pampering stations: Hair Styling and Mini-Manicures by Avalon Salon and Day Spa, Deer Park; Chair Massages by Satori Massage Spa; and Mini-Facials by Katie Brown with Arbonne.  Boutique Vendors brought some great merchandise to sell including:  Jewell Handbags and Accessories, Phyllis Benstein; d’Vine Wine and Gifts and Sara Blaine Jewelry by Willow House, Mary Duke Grubbe.  We had some enthusiastic winners of three door prizes and a record number of 21 raffle baskets/items!  Two lucky people won fabulous overnight getaways in our Special Raffles.  Julie Selof, Development Associate at PTSCC said “We’d like to thank everyone who supported this event, making it our most successful Girls Night Out yet!”
