Apple Tree Campaign-School Supplies Needed

Apple Tree Campaign

The Apple Tree Campaign, now in its 25th year, collects and distributes new backpacks and school supplies to economically disadvantaged children, kindergarten through 8th grade as well as incoming freshman who live in Palatine Township.  The program is designed to provide students, who have been referred by local social workers, with needed school supplies so they can start school prepared and ready to learn.

Items needed include: backpacks, (we need girls backpacks kindergarten through 8th grade) markers, spiral notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, pocket folders, scissors, Kleenex, (a complete list of items is available at www.palatinetownship.com). Monetary donations are also accepted and greatly appreciated; they allow the township to purchase items that are lacking. Checks should be made payable to the “Palatine Township Apple Tree Campaign.”  Apple Tree Campaign is a program of the Needy Family Fund a 501c3 corporation.
