Two Concerts Rescheduled In Palatine

:  Several events had to be relocated or canceled due to weather considerations this summer. Two of those performances have been rescheduled.

Larkin & Moran Brothers is a rescheduled Sounds of Summer concert that will now be taking place on Saturday, August 10, at 8:00pm at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road. Larkin and Moran Brothers are known for the electricity they project when performing. They are widely considered to be one of the most followed and sought after Irish/Celtic music bands in the Midwest. Based in Chicago-Shay Clarke of the Irish American News has said that “The Larkin and Moran Brothers have a sense of fun and energy that is rare these days (in Irish music).”

Guitar Across the World! is a rescheduled 4th Thursday Concert that will now be taking place on Friday, September 6, at 7:00pm at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road. Musicians have always been fascinated and inspired by the rich traditions of other cultures and countries. The result is often a wonderful piece of music that is created in homage to these different traditions. Hear Steve Vazquez perform some great guitar works composed in this spirit of cultural exchange by Leo Brouwer, Stepan Rak, Roland Dyens, Dusan Bogdanovic, and more. Fourth Thursday concerts this year have been presented by Northwest Community Healthcare.
