Congratulations to Mike Lesiuk, the winner of this year's Sounds of Summer Grill Raffle! The grill, a Weber Spirit E210 Propane Grill valued at $399, was donated once again by Palatine Ace Hardware, located at 239 E. Northwest Hwy in Palatine. Raffle ticket proceeds help fund Palatine Park District's free Sounds of Summer concert series.
Mike is from Palatine, and purchased his lucky ticket at the Community Center registration desk when he was signing his daughter up for soccer. Tickets were also sold during all concert events, and at Ace Hardware.
Due to rainouts, two of the Sounds of Summer concerts have been rescheduled:
- Larkin & Moran Brothers - Saturday, August 10 at 8pm at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater.
- Guitar Across the World, presented by Northwest Community Healthcare - Friday, September 6 at 7:00pm at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater.
