Palatine Park District Tiger Sharks Swim Team to Hold Fall Tryouts

Palatine Park District Tiger Sharks Swim team is a USA Swimming and Illinois Swimming year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of the team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability.

 

The program is constantly growing, training young swimmers year round to maintain a well-rounded and competitive team. Tryouts for the fall season will be held on  Thursday, August 8 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and on Friday, August 9 from 8:00am to 9:00am. Interested swimmers are invited to stop by during either training date for a 5 to 10 minute evaluation. Coaches will also be on hand to answer questions about the program. Swimmers should bring a swimsuit, goggles, and a great attitude to the tryout. The tryouts will be held at Birchwood Pool, home of the Tiger Sharks, 435 W. Illinois Avenue, Palatine.

Early Bird registration for the team will be held on August 19 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Birchwood Gym, 435 West Illinois Avenue, Palatine. The season will begin September 3.
