Palatine Youth Baseball/Softball is Hiring Umpires

PYB/S is now accepting applications for umpires for the 2013 season.

Palatine Youth Baseball/Softball is looking for softball and baseball umpires for the 2013 season. There are umpiring opportunities for all levels of experience from beginners through IHSA "patched" umpires. Umpire training is provided and mandatory for new umpires beginning in February. Those interested in becoming a PYB/S umpire must possess a general understanding of baseball and softball and be willing to gain a better understanding of both games. Any individual under the age of 16 must be able to obtain a workers permit in order to umpire.

For more information contact Dave Zimmer at pyb umpires@pyb.com or download, complete, and return the umpire interest form on the  PYBS website www.pyb.com.  Please click on the “Umpires” tab to access forms.
