Palatine Park District Says “Give Us Your Best Shot!”

Palatine Park District offers Photography Contest for amateur photographers of all ages.

The Palatine Park District is holding an amateur photo contest this summer. All youth, teen, and adult amateur photographers are invited to participate. The main rule is that all photographs that are submitted must be taken at a Palatine Park District facility or park, or during a Palatine Park District program or event. Entries are due no later than 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

All photos that are submitted will be displayed in August at the Community Center.  Photos will also be displayed during various special events. There are two divisions for entry:  Youth for ages 17 and under, and Adult for ages 18 and over. Each photographer is allowed to submit up to two entries.

Up to ten photos in each division will be selected for consideration in the People’s Choice Award. In August, these photos will be displayed at www.palatineparks.org and at various facilities and events for public voting. Photos submitted may be used in our brochure, website, displays, video, and other Park District promotions, and photos will not be returned.
