Palatine Park District Presents Big Trucks

Head over to the Family Aquatic Center parking lot on May 4 from 10am to 1pm for this free event for all ages!

Palatine Park District presents Big Trucks, a free community event, on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the Family Aquatic Center Parking Lot, located at 340 East Palatine Road. This entertaining family event allows children of all ages the opportunity to see big trucks and vehicles up close. They will even be able to sit in the driver’s seat in some of the trucks. This year’s event will also include goodie bags for the first 400 children and raffle prizes including movie tickets to Cutting Hall, pool passes, gift certificates, and more.

The Palatine Park District partners with many local organizations and companies to present this free event for the Palatine community.  Groups currently scheduled to showcase their vehicles include: Groot Recycling, Got Junk, LaGrange Crane, Hummel Construction, Palatine Police Department, Community Consolidated School District 15, Public Works Department, Palatine Fire Department, Advance Disposal, A Express Towing, Rogners Garage, Jewel, MBL Recycling, and the Palatine Park District.  Parking willbe available in the Community Center Parking Lot located at 250 East Wood Street, Palatine.
