Palatine Park District Participates in Oktoberfest and Scarecrows on Parade

Palatine Park District presented a variety of pretzel games for kids today at Oktoberfest.

The Palatine Park District participated in today's Family Day, part of the Rotary of Palatine's Oktoberfest event this weekend. The park district offered a variety of pretzel themed games including fishing for pretzels, the pretzel toss and pretzel stacking. Thanks to everyone who came out to play pretzel games with us today at the Palatine Rotary Oktoberfest! In addition to the family day games, the Palatine Children's Chorus performed in the Oktoberfest tent today as part of the Family Day festivities.

As part of Okotberfest, the Village of Palatine hosted the Scarecrows on Parade contest today as well. We are excited to have received 3rd place in this year's event and we congratulate the Palatine Historical Society on their 1st place award and the PPD Tiger Shark Swim Team on their Honorable Mention award. Finally, we hope you enjoyed all of today's entertainment, especially the Palatine Children's Chorus!
