Palatine Historical Society Presents Annual Cemetery Walk on May 19

On Sunday, May 19 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, the Historical Society presents their annual Cemetery Walk in Palatine’s Hillside Cemetery, located on Smith Road in Palatine, just north of Colfax Street.  This year’s walk will feature costumed actors telling the stories of early Palatine businessmen.  Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for Palatine Historical Society Members, and $2 for children under the age of 16.  Tickets can be purchased at the Cemetery on the day of the event.  Tours will start every fifteen minutes, with the last tour beginning at 3:30pm.  All profits from the event are used for the restoration of grave markers at Township Cemeteries.
