Busy Week Full of Performing Arts in Palatine

A variety of performing arts events are scheduled this week.

This week is full of a variety of arts-related concerts and events.

Palatine Children's Chorus
On Wednesday, July 25 at 8pm, the Palatine Children's Chorus will be performing at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road, as part of the Palatine Park District's Sounds of Summer free concert series.This is the group's 17th concert at the amphitheater.

Harper College Jazz Ensemble
On Thursday, July 26 at 6:30pm, the Harper College Jazz Ensemble will be performing at Towne Square, 150 W. Palatine Road. This free concert will feature big band jazz with exceptionally talented vocalists and some great improvisation. This is the final concert in the 4th Thursday Concert series sponsored this year by .

Car Wash to Benefit Seussical the Musical
Caught in the Act is Palatine Park District's summer youth theater group. They will be hosting a car wash on Thursday, July 26 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater parking lot, 262 E. Palatine Road, to raise funds for their summer production of Seussical. Performances will be held at Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center on August 3 and August 4. For tickets, visit www.cuttinghall.org

Bopology
Enjoy a free concert featuring one of Chicago's premier big bands on Friday, July 27 at 8:00pm at Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road. Bring your chairs or blanket along with your dinner and beverages to enjoy this free outdoor event featuring foot tapping swing music from the 30's, 40's, and 50's including the sounds of Frank Sinatra and Duke Ellington.
