Big Trucks Coming to Palatine on May 3

Palatine Park District presents Big Trucks, a free community event, on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 10:00am to 1:00pm in the Family Aquatic Center Parking Lot, located at 340 East Palatine Road. Parking will be available in the Community Center Parking Lot located at 250 East Wood Street, Palatine.

This entertaining family event allows children of all ages the opportunity to see big trucks and vehicles up close. They will even be able to sit in the driver’s seat in some of the trucks. This year’s event will also include goody bags for the first 500 children, free entry into the prize raffle, and a craft provided by Lakeshore Learning.

Food trucks are a new addition to the event this year. Purchase your breakfast, lunch or a sweet treat from the Toasty Cheese truck, Flirty Cupcakes on Wheels, or Babycakes Gourmet Pancakes.
