Don't forget to bring your new or gently used baseball and softball equipment to donate at PYB Baseball and Softball Day. Proceeds from the drive will benefit Baseball Oyate, Inc., a charity for at-risk children, youth and families.
The mission of Baseball Oyate is to empower youth through baseball and softball by providing the resources necessary to operate and enhance community programs while inspiring strong character and well being for the underserved in areas of significant native population.
“Oyate” (O-yah’-day) is a Lakota/Dakota word for nation, people, family.
Drop off Location, Community Park Fields in Palatine, look for the collection table near the ball fields.
