William J. "Bill" Murphy III, 51

Memorial visitation for William J. “Bill” Murphy III, 51, of Palatine for 27 years, will be held Wednesday, June 29, from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 8 p.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.  Interment will be private.

Born Aug. 5, 1959 in Chicago, he passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the Rainbow Hospice Ark, Park Ridge.

Bill was a member of the Pipefitters Local #597 Union and worked for Kroeschell Engineering for 17 years.

Bill was the beloved husband of  Kathleen Murphy (nee Steffens); loving father of Alyssa (Mike) Cloherty, William (Tara) Murphy and Kevin Murphy; loving grandfather of Brynn Cloherty and Katie Murphy; dear son of Brunetta Wilson; fond brother of Robert Murphy, Terry (Al) Polino, Laurie (Steve) Turn, Richard Murphy, Frank (Amy) Haberzetle; and also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, William Murphy.
